Women’s health and Mother Nature: there is a connection. The concerns about environmental chemicals are everywhere. We will bring an awareness of these concerns to women and their families giving information on healthier alternatives while encouraging a more eco-friendly lifestyle. This will be an interactive presentation including the opportunity to learn healthy methods to relax and pamper ourselves and those we love.

Course Objectives

  1. Discuss environmental chemicals affecting women’s reproductive health
  2. Explain the concerns to menstrual functions with xenoestrogens
  3. Define the connection between cancer and environmental exposures
  4. Explain the alternatives to reduce negative chemical effects
  5. Discuss promotion of cleaner lifestyles
  6. List resources for information and research on environmental health
