Upcoming 2009 Programs
Upcoming Programs for 2009 will include:
Optimizing Health for the Late Preterm Infant
This program, developed by AWHONN, reviews the AWHONN Late Preterm Infant Initiative, the conceptual framework, the ultimate goal of optimizing health for these infants, and the common complications they experience: respiratory distress, temperature instability, hyperbilirubinemia, and feeding challenges. Since more than 70% of premature babies fall into this category, all health care providers, from the delivery room, to the postpartum unit, to the nursery/special care nursery/NICU, and post hospital care providers should find this program beneficial.
AWHONN 1 & 2 day courses will be coming in the Fall.
New course dealing with the surgical side of
labor & delivery coming soon…!
Look for The Defensible OB Record
